DSC airplay overview

The DSC received its first FM airplay on Long Island commercial rock station WBAB-FM (Babylon) on January 15, 2008 with the debut of "See Kay" and its internet radio debut on Dan Herman's Live365 station Radio Crystal Blue on January 20th. The album was officially released to college radio on January 29th and within weeks was being played on some 180 campus radio stations and repeatedly charting in numerous CMJ and RIYL charts. In March of 2008 the album charted as a "Prime Mover" on internet radio and it is currently being played on web radio shows hosted in the United States, Great Britain, and beyond.

The album has also been featured in numerous podcasts and will be promoted to commercial radio nationwide in June and July of 2008.

All in all,The DSC has been played on over 200 stations in at least 38 of the contiguous states as well as Alaska, Hawaii, DC, Canada, Britain, Germany and Spain, not bad for an album that was released sans mega-huge record label!

BANTER airplay overview

BANTER's releases were never actively promoted to radio, but did manage to get some airplay in the band's homestate of Massachusetts on stations WBCN-FM (Boston), WAAF-FM (Boston), WXRV-FM (Haverill), WERS-FM (Boston) and WMLN-FM (Milton), and possibly others, although airplay was not meticulously tracked. WMLN recorded a one hour special on Banter and their Side One EP, and if anyone can find a copy of this we'd be very grateful!

We'd also love a copy of our live performance and interview on RadioBoston.com from sometime circa 2001 and Dan's guest DJ spot on RB.com from 2002. Banter also was broadcasted live from The Linwood in Boston on RB.com.

2 Banter songs, "Springtime and February" and a pre-DSC version of "Go Outside," were also featured on New England Cable News' The Mike Adams Sports Hour.
